CareCredit is different from your usual credit card. Briefly stated, CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that can be used to pay for dental care and medical care, and CareCredit is accepted by over 250,000 dental and medical providers across the nation, including DuPage Dental Smiles.
CareCredit offers both short-term and longer-term payment options.
The Short-term Option
- Short-term payment options can be arranged for 6, 12, 18, or 24 months.
- No interest is charged on amounts of $200 or more when you make the minimum monthly payments and pay the full amount by the end of the payment period.
- If those payment conditions are not met, interest will be charged from the original service date.
The Longer-term Option
CareCredit offers longer-term options of 24, 36, 48, or 60 months.
With these options, there is a Reduced APR and required monthly payments until paid in full.
- Services of $1,000 or more may be eligible for a 24-month option with an APR of 17.90% or
- A 36-month option with an APR of 18.90% or
- A 48-month option at 19.90%.
- Services of $2,500 or more may be eligible for a 60-month option with a 20.90% APR.
